SouthEast Sugar Gliders began as one person's dream to help these sweet little creatures.  In 2006, it opened as an online forum and the staff began the process of incorporating as a non-profit.  SouthEast Sugar Gliders, Inc received 501(c)(3) tax exempt status from the IRS in April of 2009.  In 2010, we expanded our focus to include all companion animals and became SouthEast Companion Animal Rescue & Education Services, Inc.

We feel very strongly about education.  It is through educating people about the care these animals require and making them feel passionate about providing that excellent level of care  that we can do the most good.  This   site contains articles covering all basic husbandry for sugar gliders.  They are in PDF format for ease of printing.

The SESG Team is made

up of sugar glider owners, rescuers and breeders.  We all share an intense love of animals, and most of us share our lives with many different animals. Ensuring that every animal knows health, happiness and love is our goal.
